Taken with a plain ol’ point and shoot.  A couple years before I became a photographer.

This was totally spontaneous.  I’m so glad I was quick enough to capture it.  It still makes me smile years later.

That was Flower, the betta fish.  He died a short time later.  And for weeks, Luke insisted that we water his grave every day.  Because, of course, fish like water.

If you have a favorite image, leave a link in the comments.  I’d love to see it.

Kim and I have been friends for  20  years   since high school, which was at the most like maybe 7 years ago or something.

I had the pleasure to photographer her and her family not too long ago.  I love that she and I are still friends after, you know, 7 years.  That’s a long time.   And I wanted to share with y’all the secret to a long, lasting friendship:   know too many secrets to ever risk making each other mad.  ;)

Love you guys so much.
